Anybody Else Pre-Order Dragon Age: Inq. From Microsoft.com? I'm afraid.

I pre-ordered Dragon Age and GTA last Tuesday. Yesterday (Sunday), I got an email shipping confirmation showing that GTA has been shipped. Nothing about DA:I, I checked it online and it's still processing!!!

Am I gonna get *** because I took Microsoft for their word and believed they would have it to me on release day?

I already called and all he told me is what I already knew and said he would email me with mire info. Four hours later and no info.

I want my games on disc! I live in a country setting; so, I don't have the greatest connection speed. I'm not going to spend an entire day downloading a game to play it. It's bad enough having to download some of these monstrous day one patches which are
a shame on these game developers. I also can't keep buying digital games because the hard drive is too small on the xbox one! I'm already going through the hard drive trying to see what I can delete just hoping I won't regret it later on.

Hey bud, I pre purchased DA from the Microsoft store as well.

I also on Sunday received a letter of confirmation that my product has shipped. Mine of course was DA.

I pre ordered 10 days ago.

Also when purchasing from the MS store when your item is processing there is nothing at all that can be done to the order until it is given a shipping number.

Are you sure you had enough funds on the card used to pre order these two games?

 

Does their site not display an "order status" for the stuff you have placed?

Most other sites do.

What's the status of your order? "dispatching soon"? "Dispatched"? How does that compare to the status of your GTA V order?

 

There is an order status in your purchase history.

But it displays like this.

Processing: nothing can be done to order.... Not even cancel.

Shipped:you can get your tracking number. And edit or cancel purchase.

The ms store has a pretty crappy system going but those pre order bonuses blowing everyone out of the water.

 

Get GTAV from GameStop get 1 million in game money.

Get it from ms store and you get 15$ real money.

What would you choose?

I certainly had enough funds and I was billed for the two games. I'm glad the game processed for you and I'm going to hope I did for me.

Is your tracking number active for your game and What is the shipping weight of your game?

Mine isn't giving any updates for the one they emailed me. I'm not familiar with how they manage these releases.

I have a theory as to what is going on with my order. Since I have two games on the way, the games are being shipped together and they just put a track on the first game on the list which is GTA. And, the weight of my package is .40 lbs and the weight of
a single game is a little less than .2 lbs; so, that gives me a little hope.

I was just frustrated after wasting 15 minutes on the phone with customer support talking to a guy with a thick accent using a very poor quality phone that made it even more difficult to understand him. I expected some help from him but he knew as much
as I did.

PKVAS, you're no help at all. If I want to switch between games, it should be as simple as swapping a disc. NOT deleting one and spending 12 hours downloading the other.

 

Sorry I won't be able to share the weight info as the way my order has been completed makes it kind of rolled up into one. So my entire order is still under processing.

But Microsoft has already took my cash so I'm not worried.

See what I did was pre ordered quite a few games too take advantage of the 15$ rewards for each of them. So they hold the money and 5 days before release they take the cash. And until my last order on 12/31/2014 completes the website will not let me access
any of this information as you already know being my order is technically still processing.
