    Any Xbox 360 games online servers going to be taken down in the future?


    Does anyone know which Xbox 360 games are going to lose their online servers? I'd like to know so I can play on the games for the last time and/or get achievements for the games that have multiplayer achievements.

    Is it possible to find out if certain game servers are still available? Stranglehold in particular

    [/quote]last I checked Stranglehold was still going, I believe as it is p2p across the XBL servers they cannot be taken down. SO unlike EA's dedicated servers the only thing you have to worry about is if there is anyone else online playing it.

    Xbox 360 Servers and Xbox One Backwards Compatability

    MS have NEVER stated when the Xbox 360 servers will be taken down.

    Any Xbox 360 games online servers going to be taken down in the future?

    I dont think the game publishers announce them.Its just whenever theres not enough players to fill the game lobbies.Generally good games are active for years but bad ones like Turok go down in 3 or 4 months.

    Yeah quite a few games should still have servers. I just hope they keep the servers open for XBL so we can download our games if we need to.

    The most recent games that lost their servers that where announced where Doritos Crash Course 2 and Ascend: Hand of Kul. I managed to 100% Ascend: Hand of Kul on the last day it was out but never got to play Doritos Crash Course 2.

    A lot of devs/publishers hand over server issues to who ever it is that runs the servers. If you could find out which company runs the servers for the games you want to finish, it may be easier for you to get a rough date on when they plan to ditch certain
    games.
