Any way to change payment option for Series X pre-order?

So I received an email for my Series X pre-order saying they were unable to process the payment, I stupidly tried the same card hoping it would go through, now I'm realising it's probably going to have the same issue even though I called my credit card company
and they told me it was Microsoft stopping the authorisation of the payment, but I spoke to Microsoft and they told me it was my credit card company that was stopping it.

So what I want to do is use a different card entirely, however I am unable to change the payment option, I'm assuming this is due to the fact that I've tried the same card again and its trying to process it again.

I've had no update on my pre-order and do not know what's going on with it. Is there a way to just pay with a different card?

Also the call back request doesn't work, I thought they were open 7 days a week? Is there a number I can talk to someone directly on today?

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your preorder. You have to reach out to
support.xbox.com to get the payment issues resolved. I personally have never had problems getting a callback, but it might take some time,
especially this close to next gen. launch, where support is very busy.

This is not accurate. Ive pre ordered items before with my balance and others have pre ordered the series x with their balance or had MS change theor payment option to their balance after the fact. There is an issuewith the payment system currently thst
theybhope to have resolved by next week. Though ive gotten a nimber of explanations from support agents that vary from “you cant” to “texh issue”.

I was lucky enough to obtain an Xbox series X pre order yesterday but in the chaos I selected Paypal as the payment. But I have enough giftcard credit on my account to cover it. . Is there a way to change the payment from Paypal to Microsoft credit
without losing my pre order? I dont see a way to do it.

I dont think so but im sure someone else can correct me if im wrong.

One year. Microsoft offers an extended warrranty if you buy it from them, other restailers have thier own. Extended warranties are not included with All Access

I have already pre-ordered the Xbox Series X. Is there a way to pay for an extended warranty after the fact or would i have to wait to until launch or is it just not an option now?

I have the same question. I have pre-ordered the Series X on Xbox.com, but I was not offered an option for an extended warranty at the time of the pre-order and I cannot find any place on Xbox.com to add a warranty now.

I have been buying Microsoft gift cards as a way to save up to buy a Series X. When the time to pre-order came around, I had $550 in Microsoft store credit. That was more than enough to cover the cost of the console and taxes. I finally got an order to go
through at the Microsoft store, but it did not use any of my store credit and it is going to charge my debit card instead. I have contacted support but was told the only way i can use my store credit is to cancel the order and re-order. Obviously if i do that,
i will not get the Series X.

This means I will probably be cancelling and will not get the Series X at launch. After already spending $550 towards it, I’m not going to spend that much again because I cannot change payment on the order to store credit. I can change cards, change it to
Paypal or even mobile billing but not store credit that is on my account. That doesnt even make sense to me.

Any way to change payment option for Series X pre-order?
