Any way to cancel an update without uninstalling the app entirely?

Thanks for coming to the forums. Microsoft/Xbox had put this in place a while ago where if an update was cancelled or stopped for a period of time It uninstalls the entire game. The reason for this, is they found that a lot of the calls support was getting
before this was due to updates corrupting games due to being cancelled and started again. This way there is less chance for the game to become corrupt which could affect all aspects of the Xbox console.

Ah my son feels your pain. Twice this has happened with RDR2 which is huge. But it is working as intended.
