Any way to buy a fresh power supply?

Hello. I recently ordered a new power supply since my old one was getting rather loud. I paid to have one sent immediately from the service center. A few days later i received the "new" power supply. It was pretty banged up: scratches all over, plastic sticking
out of one side of it(?), a dent on the underside etc. This isn't what i thought i was paying for. Before payment was complete, nowhere did it say id be receiving a refurbished power supply. My old one is loud but it looks brand new. Not like it went through
7 tours in the military. Is there any way for me to buy a new one? As in "never used before" new. I'm extremely unhappy with this. Also, it wasn't damaged during delivery. The packaging was 100% intact. Please advise.

Using american console in Europe

You should not use power converters of any kind with your console.The only way is to buy a power brick for the country you want to use the console in.

Is there a way that I could change the power supply without sending it in for repairs or buying a new console? Also, is there a way to test if the power supply is 100% the problem? My parents are not sure and need proof.

Just tossing this out there, but a fresh start up of the console will also fix this problem. To do this you need to shut off the console, unplug the power supply for a few seconds. Reconnect the power supply and turn on the console.

Only way to solve this is to buy a new power supply. Opening up your Xbox or supplies is against the MS rules.

Make sure when you buy a new one, you get the right power outtage. The "old" Xbox 360 has 3 different types!

If your Xbox console and your power supply fell then that's a big problem, your power supply is probably broken and not just that your Xbox console might be broken too. If you have a friend or any other way to get another power supply you should try to see
if your Xbox console is working that way you know if it's just your power supply or your console too.
