Any updates on the outage?

Time to break out the old consoles to get my gaming fix to unwind. At least my old Nintendo's and Playstation's don't require me to be online to actually play the games. I love my Xbox, but with the current setup this is one situational aspect that I loathe
because the games I actually want to play I'm unable to play...even the "offline" ones. All I'd ask from Microsoft would be a kind heads-up from Support saying "Hey, we know there is an issue, this is what it is, and here is a rough ETA on when we expect
service to be returned." so that I can then go about planning my downtime accordingly. Would be easy to rage, but that doesn't solve anything. It is upsetting to have a service we've paying for be inaccessible, but part of what we're paying for is also for
them to fix it in a timely manner, and as long as they do that, I'll try to be patient and understanding. Depending on the length of downtime it would be nice to see them do something to compensate members, but that is only if it goes on for more than a day
(please don't let it...). Here is hoping it gets fixed in a just a few more hours and we'll all be back to gaming or watching movies/shows in no time.
