Any update why we can sign in but sidebar with apps/store and other stuff is still missing.

The issue surrounding this has been fixed however if you are still having issues you need to perform a Power Cycle. Here's how:

1. While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds
   
2. The console will power down.
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn your console back on by again pressing the Xbox button.

And it's obviously not street dated because we know GameStop wouldn't sell that early. Why can't other stores be on top of this. GameStop never does sales and never price matches so it sucks when stores like BestBuy don't have stock but price match miss
out on this stuff.

Update i logged in with me other old account and it worked and I tried logging in online with my main and it worked so it is with my account and the app

i have reported these issues, i have scoured the internet for fixes and tried all of them, i have been in contact with miscrosoft more than once because of this.

the only fix is "reinstall windows". this is the official response by microsoft customer service after none of the proposed fixes worked.

also please keep in mind that ONLY the miscrosoft store and xbox app become unusable. if none of the other hundreds of programs i have on my 2 PCs have any issue then the problem is not my hardware nor my software. it's microsoft.

there is no other explanation than microsoft being either incompetent or purposely and malignantly sabotaging the PC gaming apps.

if microsoft used a standalone, independent, launcher for xbox (like literally every other gaming store does) these issues would not exist. The insidious and forceful bloating of system integrations of the store and xbox apps is what's breaking them.

why do i need to check my account's permission settings through the store to download a game from xbox app? and not just that it not only checks the store for some reason, it checks 3 different windows account managers and 4 apps, refuses to install unless every single thing is updated, refuses to install if there's options in windows turned off (like the Trash of the Decade Award winning windows BITS system), refuses to install if the store cache is too large or if you have uninstalled and reinstalled stuff in the past, and a laughably large etc.

why in order to sign up to gamepass i need to go to the app, which redirects me to the xbox webpage, have me sign in to xbox, then redirect me to the microsoft webpage, have me sign in with my microsoft account, of course being careful that this is the correct combination of xbox and microsoft accounts i need on this computer only to then have me back to the xbox app but only to restart it to confirm? this system is madness, it's purposely anti-consumer.

we shouldnt need to check accounts other than a cursory glance at the one signed up on wondows. we shouldnt have to have stuff updated other than the xbox app itself, we shouldnt have to turn on terrible systems like BITS as a mandatory for the xbox app to even function.

the xbox app is just a reskinned microsoft store, i get that, but this convoluted and anti-consumer system is failing and it's just revolting that microsoft has chosen to go this route instead of doing the reasonable thing. the thing epic, gog and every other game storefront has done to great success...
