    Any update on fixes to capturing 4k gameplay on xb1x?


    I'm in alpha skip ahead and for a bit now 4k capture is broken completely. I been reporting it every time it happens. It sucks because I love the 4k dvr. I kinda low key hope this all means were getting longer 4k recording times in the future . does anyone on the insider staff know if progress on fixing this is being made?

    4K SDR/HDR Game Captures

    4K Capture is is broken after last update (15.5) we are waiting for new update with fix for that issue.

    2 weeks of corrupted captures or just not recording!

    Same problem here.

    Two different Xbox, different USB 3.1 sticks and same result.

    4k capture are corrupted after 2 sec.

    The funny part is this was working really well before they updated the way we capture gameplay.

    Any time soon can we expect update with fix for 4K capture?

    At this moment our only option is to capture 1080p 30fps and it is
    really bad for gaming in modern days, 4K 60fps is just standard for gaming now days. I see on my channel significant drop in traffic when I upload 1080p 30fps.

    I bought Xbox one X just because of 4K capture feature and
    nowexperience this issue with no
    solutions for days.

    xb1x is just showing that it can fully support xbox 1 x which means 4k higher frames and smoother gameplay to get everyting out of your xbox one x if you own one

    Yeah. Bought an XB1X primarily to play 4K HDR PLEX content. Getting with PLEX to get this fixed would be really nice.
