Any suggestions?

Morning all,

I've been having problems downloading Dungeon Siege 3. The message 'game could not start please re-install' appears.

I have tried this, as well as clearing the caches, and un-installing the latest update...basically anything the Support section suggests yet this does not seem to resolve the issue.

It only seems to occur with this title, as others ones have downloaded without issue?

first time ever had to contact microsoft. console under 12 month warranty still, controller has broken. into tesco they told me cust svcs who then told me to ring microsoft. no answer after 29 minutes - joke. tried to contact online and goes back to "register
your device" every bl**dy time. where do i go from here need this controller replacing asap but going round in circles.

Here in the UK we are protected from stores/ shops who treat people this way. as Tesco sold you the console so they are the seller and the seller is responsible for replacing or repairing the goods, they should not tell you to contact anyone, you could go
to citizens advice just to confirm,

 

360. Also found that Defiance disappears after download. It takes the sapce on the drive, but there's no evidence that it is actually there

 

What type of 360 & hard drive? Is it an official Microsoft hdd?

 

Yes it's an external microsoft hard drive, plugged into console via usb port. The console itself is the one with a 4??gb internal hard drive

 

What do you mean by "external Microsoft hard drive" & what size is it?

It could be trying to save to the 4gb flash drive & it wont fit.Do you get the option to pick what hdd to download it onto?

Sorry for all the questions,just trying to eliminate some things that might be causing this.

 

It's a hard drive that was on my old white xbox. It does give me the option to choose drives, and is showing up where i put it.

 

Ah.That's classed as modification so I can't help any more.

 

I don't understand how that is modification, it's just using my old (detachable) drive from another xbox? Neither have been opened up or changed from standard
