    Any solutions for the Xbox Series X wireless controller with sticky RT?


    My Xbox Series X console is just a month old. I really love everything about the console -- except for one issue. Unfortunately, the new controller's right trigger now has the same problem that so many other owners report.

    This is a pain in many games -- particularly driving or flight games -- when your RT is still pressed a few seconds after you depress it. It's difficult to drift in Forza or fly/land in other games.

    I know that I can try to take the controller apart and endeavor to fix it myself. However, I don't want to mess it up even more (or void the warranty).

    I also don't feel like I should pay money (for shipping) to send my controller to Microsoft for their fix (and lose three weeks or more of console usage). I paid more than $500 for a new console and controller. It should work or be fixed/replaced on Microsoft's dime.

    Has anyone been successful with getting Microsoft to resolve this issue?

    Hi, may I ask what controller you are using? The Xbox Series X controller or just a basic controller? Try checking the comments on this post to see if it would help you. I also recommend checking the Xbox support solutions. It is for the wireless controllers but it might have something that could help with this issue.
