Any recourse on warranty? Xbox One X

Before my warranty expired, my Xbox One X was giving me error messages that, when looked up, basically said my OS was corrupted. Microsoft Support made me factory reset the drive multiple times and eventually do a recovery via USB using the OSU1.iso file.
I was dead against doing this because if it did work, my drive would just continue to degrade and it would eventually fail. I only had about 1 month of my warranty remaining.

Well, they refused to service the console until I tried this and sure enough the xbox worked and I lost EVERYTHING I had loaded (far more rock band tracks than I would have ever wanted to re-download plus a lot of games.) The xbox one x limited along
until this year. First my blu ray drive stopped reading discs. Movies and games aren't recognized by the blu ray drive. It will load and unload the disc and nothing else.

After that my hard drive died. The system will boot up but it won't load any games. A full shutdown and a "clear the cache" procedure and a 20+ minute long boot and wait, I might get a game to load, but it takes 5 to 10 minutes. Nowhere near normal performance.
It is clear the internal hard drive is crapping out.

So since the hard drive is still bad and it is related to the issue I had before the warranty expired and their "factory reset" **** didn't actually fix it, it just pushed the problem down the road into this year, can I get Microsoft to go ahead and fix
the hardware that was obviously going bad last year? Their contact options they list now are the worst I've ever seen. They are really trying to make it difficult to reach someone to get help, escalate, or get something considered for extenuating circumstances.

Since I'm out of warranty at the moment, I've tried replacing the blu ray drive. Yes, I swapped the daughter board over from my old one to the new one. It still doesn't work. This means they have bricked the firmware on my blu ray daughter board OR the
    daughter board is bad.

I did go ahead and put in an SSD, but I could easily pull that back out and put the factory drive back into it. I didn't modify the original drive in any way. I just setup the SSD from scratch. I feel like they really screwed me over by not taking the
Xbox One X back last year when it was originally starting to fail. I haven't played it very much this year and the few times I've tried to play it I've had mostly massive problems with it and only getting worse. I really regret buying this console. It
    isn't very old.

The internal hard drive is a Seagate. In the PC repair and service that I do: Seagate used to be good back when they had 5 year warranties, but when they cut some corners they started having a much higher failure rate so they dropped their warranties down
to 3 years. Ever since then I have stayed away from Seagate drives. I've come across many failed Seagate drives out in the wild though in other people's computers and have had to replace quite a few of them over the recent years. This Xbox One X is pretty
**** build quality if the blu ray player AND the HDD both fail in about a year of ownership give or take.

    :)

I hate how you key in on one thing and completely ignore the other important thing:

This Xbox One X was failing while it was under warranty. The kind of failure (degrading hdd) was covered up by the steps support had me do. I specifically requested my Xbox One X be repaired under warranty but they refused to do that. They only gave me
the option to lose everything in my hdd and do a factory reset. That covered over the problem just long enough for my warranty to expire. Really shady support practices there.

I wanted to know if they would process an exception for this and fix my factory hdd under warranty because they made my warranty clock run out.

Microsoft will not service a console that has been opened up. Once you attempt to self-repair or replace parts, that's it. Microsoft will not touch it. If you hadn't opened it up on your own, you could have sent it in for an out of warranty repair for
a fee but not after you have done what you did. You can try to find a reputable shop to have someone try to repair it but you are on your own on this one.
