Any Recent Developments RE: Family Timer for Xbox One?

Hello everybody,

I am trying to find some recent information as to if/when a Family Timer facility will be added to the Xbox One console but I am not seeing much. Has anybody here heard anything new about this?

They have a very workable solution on Windows 10 and I do know that MS are planning to bring the two platforms closer together so I would have expected to see it on the console by now but it isn't.

I am currently having to use a manual kitchen timer to ensure that my children only get a healthy amount of time in front of the screen and while it works it is less than ideal.

1 Gold Account for the whole family

That doesn't make any sense, when they have recently scrapped the Xbox Live Gold Family account. (Much to my disgust!).

Are they bringing it back?

 

DLC Apocalypse

Check for corrupted files (in any game or data) on your xbox. If you find any, delete them, re-download if need be, and reboot. Also, try re-downloading from both the in game store AND your recent purchases list if the problem persists,
