Any Ps4 to XB1 users?

If the noise of the fan bothers you my suggestion would be to get a headset, then you wont hear the fan at all, I own both and the ps4 is louder then the X1, but I expect it to be considering the size difference in the console, but its also on loud on certain
games, some games its whisper quiet.

As for differences like someone else mentioned there are minor differences graphically if you go looking for it, I don't own the same games on both consoles so I couldn't do a direct comparison.

Wow SMG. You ps4 is quieter than you XBO! I think your fan boying it up a bit mate. Would have believed you if you said they were equally quiet but considering the XBO makes no noise at all, tell me how you can get quieter than nothing! Is there a level
below nothing that I'm not aware of? Does it go into minus sound? Are you an elephant?

I think Battlefield 4 is the only game where you can definitely tell the difference. You can look at the graphic comparison images and videos but they don't do the differences justice. It is just horrendous looking on the X1. But for the newer games, now
that they released some memory away from Kinect or whatever they did, the differences should be minor.

thanks for the feedback guys (ever so much nicer here than on the PS4 forums, great un-bias opinions, something i miss from the 360 days)

think i'll try and stick it out till after xmas and see how I feel then.

But for the record im on my 10th PS4 bar a few proper problems half of those were returned by Sony's say so after calling them asking if my fan is too loud.. turns out its just a loud system as they have all pretty much sounded the same.

Headphones are a great shout btw.

I couldn't compare the difference between the two systems, but my Xbox One is silent as a mouse. Even when playing from a disc.

I bought a Wii U a few months ago and I play that way more than my X1 at the moment.

I have both. The X1 is whisper quiet compared to my PS4. It makes this weird noise whenever I start up a game it sounds like it's going to break. As for graphic differences... yeah there are differences and you'd be able to notice it if you looked for it.
The most obvious difference is with Battlefield 4.. it looks like complete crap on the X1 and it looks decent on the PS4. With the newer games, I don't think there's much of a difference.

Should you switch? If the fan noise really bothers you that much to think about switching, then I'd say think about it some more. I know that if I could only afford one console and I made the switch from the PS4 to the X1, I'd be pretty disappointed. The
X1 is a solid system and I love its features. But the PS4 is a powerhouse and you know that with multiplatform games you get the best console version.

On the other hand, the X1 is more than a gaming machine. If I could have only one, my girlfriend would force me to pick the X1 because she enjoys its entertainment capabilities.

Can't comment on the ps because I don't have one. The X1 is whisper quiet though, disc and digital download, I never hear mine at all.

I assume both consoles have has some issues, which the video is probably one of, mine has been silent and I am unaware of a Static Whine from the dash board and I have 5.1 HDMI and Stereo TB's

This Xbox is the quietest console I've ever owned. I primarily go digital with games so I'm not sure how the disc drive holds up, or if it becomes noisy but I can't even tell mines on
