Any Ps4 to XB1 users?

just wanted to know if there any gamers that were with the PS4 and switched to XB1 and wanted to know your thoughts on the XB1.

ive always owned a XB from the start but this Gen I picked PS4 cause I thought all the XB1 features would be wasted on me as I only want it to game on in the spare room.

I do like my PS4 but my OCD is driving me nuts with the Fan noise, it feels some games I can't play cause the fan ramps up and down so when a quiet part happens all I can hear is the fan going some... Whats the XB1 loudness like?

so really just wanted to know if you feel the switch over is good or not, does thing like graphic even show any difference between the 2 consoles?

Buying Xbox One and PS4?

There are a few things to conceder regaurding haveing both systems. For example: Destiny will have exclusive content on the PS4 and not the XB1, so I'll be playing Destiny on PS4. Now Xbox One only has DR3 that is why I'm getting the XB1 first. And I'm sure
if there is any Sony games like DC Univers they will only be on PS4. There isn't much diffrents between what the XB1 or PS4 can do in terms of Hardware capability...

 

This Xbox is the quietest console I've ever owned. I primarily go digital with games so I'm not sure how the disc drive holds up, or if it becomes noisy but I can't even tell mines on

 

I have both and my PS4 is dead quiet, but I have it standing up with one of those aftermarket stand thing. Only time I hear from it is when it's spinning the disc while launching a game.

I play my PS4 way more than the XB1.

 

I have read, and seen test results from third parties on fan and console noise. The PS4 is indeed louder but by how much and to what extent this would by audible over game noise I have no idea.

thanks, im trying to look on the net for XB1 noise (just so I know what im getting into) and there's a lot of videos a few months back about what's seems static/coil whine at the dash board.. is that still an issue some response's are saying a patch fixed
that? My luck I will end up with that..lol

 

Trust me when I say that the Xbox one is so quiet that if it wasn't for the light on the front, you couldn't even tell the thing is on! It makes my gaming PC sound like a vacuum cleaner! And I'm not kidding. Even with a disc in, this thing is super silent.
I even turned my 360 on the other day and even it seemed super loud after using the Xbox one. I can't speak for the ps4 as I don't own one. Just my experience with the XBO. In all my years of gaming (I'm 37) with console and PC, I have never heard (or not
heard) a machine so quiet!

 

I assume both consoles have has some issues, which the video is probably one of, mine has been silent and I am unaware of a Static Whine from the dash board and I have 5.1 HDMI and Stereo TB's

 

Can't comment on the ps because I don't have one. The X1 is whisper quiet though, disc and digital download, I never hear mine at all.

I have both. The X1 is whisper quiet compared to my PS4. It makes this weird noise whenever I start up a game it sounds like it's going to break. As for graphic differences... yeah there are differences and you'd be able to notice it if you looked for it.
The most obvious difference is with Battlefield 4.. it looks like complete crap on the X1 and it looks decent on the PS4. With the newer games, I don't think there's much of a difference.

Should you switch? If the fan noise really bothers you that much to think about switching, then I'd say think about it some more. I know that if I could only afford one console and I made the switch from the PS4 to the X1, I'd be pretty disappointed. The
X1 is a solid system and I love its features. But the PS4 is a powerhouse and you know that with multiplatform games you get the best console version.

On the other hand, the X1 is more than a gaming machine. If I could have only one, my girlfriend would force me to pick the X1 because she enjoys its entertainment capabilities.

 

I have both and my PS4 is definitely a bit quieter than my X1. You probably have a faulty unit my friend or you just don't clean often .. & allowed it to get super dusty inside.

 

It's been like that since day one. It works just fine so I'm not worried about it. Can just get irritating when loading up games.

 

Yeah I was thinking same should be an easy sale because it's the holidays. But I've just spent too much time on GTA Online and I legitly leveled up and earned the money. And I don't think you can character transfer from X1 to PS4. I'm just trying to figure
out "if I sell the X1 would I be missing out on anything" Hard choice.
