Any problems owning both disc and digital version of game on same account?

Hi guys!

First post on these forums - I hope all you lovely people are having a cracking evening!

I've got a strange query I'm hoping you can answer.

I own one Xbox One (for my son). We make Youtube videos, and so I've decided to get a second Xbox One so we can play non-split screen two player.

Ideally I would like to use the same account for both Xboxes.

We already own Minecraft on disc. I'd like to buy the digital copy for the second Xbox (I don't think you can game-share with discs?).

Probably a daft question, but will there be any problems owning both digital and disc copy of the same game, on the same account, to play on separate Xboxes?

Got any disc games installed which load without disc...without owning a digital version ?

All my games are on disc and must be in to work. Brilliant idea DRM, no fair not getting a code though.

You would have to purchase the digital version in order to have the digital version. There is no way to download the game digitally just by owning the disc

 

Your right you can't game share with disc.

You can game share with digital games and you can also share Xbox live.

You can have both profiles on both xbox's however if you want to play a two player game with your son you will need to use your own profiles.

Hi just wanted to know if anyone is or has had problems with forza 6 loading. I had the disc and digital version and still won't load I've also talked to Microsoft and still no luck if anyone can help it would be great thanks

 

Have you tried deleting it and reinstalling it?
