Any point buying an X for 1080p TV?

I have an Xbone X set up with the 4k tv in the living room and was planning on getting an S to put in my office. The TV in there is only a 1080p display though. The crazily low price of One X bundles going out today though has me second guessing myself.

Am I right in thinking there isn't much point in spending the extra cash for an X? Because the slightly upgraded visuals aren't going to be massively noticeable on my little office screen, right?

games will go more fluid, shorter loading times and a better transition until the console change....

Of course now might be the time to save for scarlett which will be out next year around this time. If you already have an S console or an original xbox one console thatbis what id do.

I dont have a 4k tv yet but own an x and an s. I can still tell the difference in speed between the two consoles. If you can afford an X i'd buy one then you are prepared if you upgrade your tv in the future

my opinion:

the xbox one x is more powerful vs the xbox one s

so if the price is the same i would go for the x regardless of the fact that i dont have a 4K tv

If you're holding out for project Scarlett then the s will be fine but as the x isn't that much more cost-wise I'd personally go for the x.
