    Any one else not being notified of friends/favorites online?


    For weeks if not at least a couple months now, I haven’t been getting notified when my friends and favorites are online. Doesn’t matter if it’s through the app or the console itself. I’ve triple checked my settings and all remain the same. All I get are invites, achievements and captures uploaded; It seemed like a recent outage was a related to this on going issue, but even though that was resolved, I still don’t know when they go online.

    Is this an ongoing more extensive issue behind the scenes, or what’s the deal?

    Yes, whether it’s an occasional system sign out that I notice it does, or a new standby mode from a recent update.

    Did nothing to change the issue. Besides, if it’s another known issue lots of other users are also facing, what really is there to even try at this point?

    Hi! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    As you already know we have been receiving multiple reports regarding this particular notification issue, however, no official announcements have been made by Microsoft .However, I do think there is something big going on.

    In the meantime we can just perform troubleshooting steps.

    Have you sign out and then back in on all of your devices?

    The freinds online notifications are only for your favorite friends.

    set any friends you want to be notified about coming online to favourite.

    and you will be notified when they come online

    [/quote]On my one it does notify me if I have any friends online. It says on the bottom left how many friends are online. Now when I pop in a game like cod ghost it notifies you on the bottom right of the multiplayer screen if any friends are online. I guess
    we are lazy gamers in the end and we need a bubble to pop up with a audio to let us know when buds are online while gaming or using an "app" that do not notify of friends online. I guess. . . Lol
