Any news on digital preorders?

I did my fair share of web searches and came up dry, so I figured I'd ask here. Is there any news on when and if we will eventually be able to preorder games digitally on the Xbox One? Since the Xbox One can now download updates even when not in use, I was
hoping to be able to preorder games and have it download when available so its ready when I get out of work that day. That would be fantastic. Preorder bonuses would be nice too but for me the convenience would be enough.

Is there any news on Dolby Digital? Because they did say it would come post patch.

 

At the moment there is a workaround (I think), buy it through Xbox.com and leave your Xbox One fully on. It might download but I'm not sure if it needs permission.

 

I don't see the option to preorder unreleased titles on xbox.com. Am I overlooking it or are you suggesting I buy it on the website from work on release day so it downloads while I'm out?

 

Not yet but its where they (Xbox) want to be.

I download all mine release day at 4am before work if they don't show up in the store simply search for it in the games section and it will show up worked every time for me, would be nice to download the. A day or two early though

 

I just want Pre-order like steam and pre-downloads.

 

hopefully the Xbox One gets remote downloads soon ...... as it stands right now, buying the game online does nothing but put it in standby. you still have to turn the console on and tell it to download it. i'd enjoy digital pre orders as well .. but not
if remote downloads aren't working.
