Any Minecraft One news?

Downloaded and been playing all day!

I couldn't figure out how to upload my 360 worlds, kept saying "no saved worlds found" but I wasn't really concerned at the time being.

Wanted to start a new world anyway!

But I love it so far, the higher resolution and drawback distances really do make the game look a lot bigger and better. I'm loving the little new features here and there too, the new auto saving is fantastic!

I also love how there's new music too, not just the same old song playing over and over

I've been wondering about the saving... Does it do it in the background without interrupting play now? Didn't see it save all night and was getting worried. And if so at what intervals does it save, does anyone know? Thanks.

 

Baz, all you see is a small chest in the corner of the screen for half a second - that's the game saving.

 

Man that's good, I only ever see that chest for about 3 seconds and it's gone again. Never been interrupted whilst saving again is brilliant.

 

Saving and loading is far quicker on Xbox 1. Auto save has a habit of always automatically turning on. When I try to save it always asks me do I want auto save on, ok or cancel. I tried a Seed which I use from one of my Xbox 360 worlds and it generates pretty
much exactly the Seed/land how it looks on 360 on Xbox 1. Chests when you open them don't sound so loud which is great. Drawing distances have improved and way more mobs spawn. I'm liking it stayed up until 4 am and it's 9:20 am just woke up was trying to
upload videos they're all up I'm still in my pjs bed not made. That's how addicting it is.

 

Hey everyone. It's Tuesday afternoon. I have some news I wanna share. Minecraft is popular in NZ! According to todays Dominion Post (major NZ newspaper) from page A9.

"A mine of Information. Lego-like video game Minecraft is not only a hit on screens, but its guidebooks are top sellers in New Zealand and overseas, write Hillel Italie and Tom Cardy".

The article takes up pretty much ALL of page A9 (A3 size). It shows 3 kids wearing Steve face and another picture of a girl playing on it on her iPad tablet.

It's a newspaper which Auckland and Wellington gets. You can get the newspaper online but the service can only be used by those who subscribe and pay for it. I won't quote anymore otherwise it would take up a full forum page.
