    Any info on general BITSTREAM support???


    Dear Xbox staff,

    if you´re reading this, please hear out the whole community request and do something about general BITSTREAM support on the Xbox One S console in the upcoming builds,...although the Bluray app received this, we´ll be much grateful if you can make it happen
    at the system level.

    Bitstream support ALL THE WAY or not?

    Can somebody please tell me if there ever will be a bitstream audio support for every source on Xbox One S?

    I´m in Preview Ring 4, bitstream via Bluray app works for me...but how about general audio bitstream support? Playing files with HD audio via USB (MediaPlayer, VLAN...)...

    Bitstream Dolby Atmos & DTS:X on Xbox One S

    Any news on this front, it's sucky that we can watch a 4k movie yet can't bitstream Dolby Atmos. Hell, the PS4 can bitstream audio.

    Well what we know is that Microsoft's engineers are currently working on bitstream audio integration. But this functionality will be firstly tested by insiders members. Before mid April we should get it.

    Settings - Display & sound: The Audio output page is under construction and some of the new settings are not yet functional. New support is planned for Dolby Atmos for home theater, Dolby Atmos for headphones, and more in upcoming builds. An announcement will
    be made when these new features are ready to try out; enabling these settings now will have no effect.
    Well, how do you know it is due by mid April? I´d really love to have the bitstream option at system level once and for all.
