any idea when Borderlands 2 will be backwards compatibility?

I have the same question for Borderlands too:
Is Borderlands 2, on X1 via backward compatibility, any different (graphics) to Borderlands the Handsome Collection?

 

Borderlands 2 on xbox one issue

i recently bought a copy of borderlands 2 because it said it was backwards compatible on the Xbox one. When i pput the disk into my xbox one it said that it was not one of the backwards compatible games. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Hi, there has been no news yet, you should contact the developers (gearbox software) or the publisher (2k games), they might be able to tell you, and keep an eye on the xbox one back compat site & majornelson.com for any updates to the back compat list.

As StuartATrueRed mentioned, you would need to contact the publisher/developer if you wish to find out more. I doubt, however, that they will make the game backwards compatible as there is already a remastered version on the Xbox One that allows you to transfer
your character(s) over from your 360 saves.

so if i buy The Handsome Collection, all my progress will be there and transfer like i was just playing the 360? thanks for the help guys,,,,

Just make sure you move your characters on 360 to the Cloud. Then you will have the option to import the characters when you buy the Handsome Collection.
