    Hi all, so I bought a game the other day and played it until I accidentally laser burned it. Xbox offers a free demo for it though. So I downloaded it and tried to download the full game through it but when I'm asked to type in a registration code, I use
    the one that came with the actual game I bought but obviously it won't work since its already in use. My question is is there a way I can deactivate that code so I can download the game and use the same code again so I don't have to go out and buy a whole
    new game? Thank you!

    Sorry to hear it. Follow the steps at the link below. If the game was purchased on the account you're trying to launch with then you can see it there and restart the download at no cost.

    Can I re-download a game I already purchased

    I purchased and downloaded Minecraft a couple years ago. It was accidently deleated from my xbox 360. Can I re-download it without paying for it again. The game shows up in my history but if I click on it I only get an option for free trial or purchase.

    Downloading the game again is the only way to play it on Xbox with your friend.

    However, if your friend is close by you can bring a portable hard drive to his XBOX and copy it and save the long download times. You'll be playing in no time at all!

    They are playing on PC as well and with Game Pass Ultimate. I have Game Pass Ultimate and the game downloaded but cannot play with them because I did not download through the Microsoft Store?
    As far as I am aware, there is no cross platform play between Steam and Xbox when it comes to Ark, so your Steam version cannot communicate with their Game Pass version of the game. You would have to download the Game Pass version of the game and start fresh
    there in order to play with other people using the Game Pass version.

    The gamepass app and steam are different launchers. Then you need to download the game again in the Microsoft Store and run it through the gamepass app.
