    Any hope for my Xbox S digital?


    So since i have purchased this console, around 6 months ago, I have had to factory reset it nearly 30 times. I have done everything except take it to the desert and bury it, but i still might. I've read places that the console is notorious for bad WiFi connection. I have everything else running off the same router when in use and the connection and internet are better than most other homes in my area. The rep I just spoke with said I would need to have it serviced and that would cost 179.00 for my console which i paid 199.00..



    Anyone else have an S digital and know if there is anything i can do to avoid servicing or replacing, or do I now own the most cumbersome paperweight Microsoft has ever created.

    I realize that Games are also suffering from launch issues at the moment ,but I can't stay signed in for more 30 seconds to get back to Factory Reset..

    any help or clever pun will help,

    If you purchase the physical version you can't play it on All digital consoles (Xbox Series S / Xbox One S all digital)

    If you want to play the game everywhere you need to purchase the digital version (the one from Microsoft Store)

    Retrocompatibility

    Hello Soldier,

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. You can play the entirety of the

    backwards compatible game list     on any version of the Xbox one! This includes the Xbox one, Xbox one S, Xbox one X and the Xbox one S all digital.

    Xbox One Series S - I'm confused

    You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

    The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

    The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

    The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

    The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

    All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

    The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

    I hope this clears things up for you.
