Any good racing games out there?

Besides Mario Kart. I haven't played a racing game in a long time. Is this a good racing game? Last racing game I played that I can remember is Midnight Club La.. Than I used to play Crusin USA for n64 back in the day.

I haven't seen a racing game good enough since Forza and I really want a new racing game. Can anyone recommend a good racing game for the 360?

 

Dirt Showdown at Game

I hope this game is good, it hasn't hit the US yet, it comes out June 12th! Is it any good? I loved the demo and bummed when they pushed it back 2 weeks, but one of my Aussie friends has it and he said it wasn't a good racing and that's when I reminded him
that it's mostly a demolition game, not racing.

Forza is probably the most popular racing game at the minute, or try test drive unlimited, it's quite old but still a great game

 

Forza and Forza Horizon. If you like open world racing try Forza Horizon. If you like real tracks that are raced in real life then try Forza series.

I hadn't played a Forza until number 5 and I must say that I highly regret not getting into the series sooner as I found it to be one of the best I'd played in a very long time.

Grid 1+2 are not bad racers, once you get used to the handling.

They don`t have any car modifying in them, so you basically just race after race.

The forza games have you earning money to buy parts to upgrade your cars,then tuning,painting etc, so has a lot more depth to the game.

 

Any Forza is worthwhile and you can't go wrong with Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2.

No good or even decent racing game is availible for this console......

I maybe lying/wrong but.....

Forza is NOTHING like mario Kart.... Try Blur!!!! or any other racing game with power ups.... Or purchase a Wii.....

Forza is a racing sim... not an arcade style game...

 

Eh? No. Grid holds up pretty well for it's age but 2 is atrocious, the handing model on that game is possibly the worst I've ever played. Dismal game.

 

2 Isn`t great, but thats why i said once you get used to the handling.

I am currently on about season 5 and have just got the hang of it.

 

I admire your perseverance.

 

If only Grid had a turtle shells :<)

Ridge racer is also an arcade style game---- Nobody mentioned Dirt... Great racer IMO....
