Any fixes for 8015190A on backwards compatible games….

Hey all, so I’m aware some people have this error when downloading their profile with backwards compatiable games on the Xbox one.

However I’ve tried everything I can find including the following

- turned off reoccurring payments

- changing the avatar

- changing the account details

- any other ways of “Resyncing” the account or whatever people call it

But since I don’t have a 360 anymore to try on their I’m hoping there is something someone can suggest or if support will ever get back to me to try see if there is anything they can do their side…

Honestly anything will be great, just wanna play some of the old cod’s again

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Clear the Xbox 360 storage.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ...

Select Settings.

Select System and then select Storage.

Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.

Select Yes and restart the console.

Solution 3: Try setting up manual DNS settings before downloading the profile.

1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

Solution 4: Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try downloading your profile after that and see if it works.

Solution 5: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

8 days later, after being on the phone to support twice for an hour long each time saying they will get back and trying to same stuff over and over they’re not resolving the issue.

After they claimed they’re aware of this issue and actively supporting users with this issue to myself on the phone I’m still left helpless…

Yeah unfortunately non of that worked either 💁 really feel like at all dead ends with this :/

I'm sorry to hear that. Since we have tried all the possible steps to sort out the issue. There seems to be an issue with playing games through backward compatibility. Have you tried any other backwards compatible Xbox games?

It could be the backwards compatibility software that is corrupt, although I have no clue how you would fix that if it is.
