Any ETA on restoration of LIVE service?

So I understand ther a DDoS attack this morning, that sucks. I understand it takes time to fix the problems caused by said attack as well. I don't understand, however, why Xbox LIVE core services seem to have the lowest priority to restore over store functions
and apps. The reality is it doesn't matter if I can browse The store, I can't purchase or download anything in the store without signing in, which still seems to be impossible. So just curious, is there any ETA that's been released that we can plan on being
able to sign in, or are we planning to wait until after the holidays?

At the time of this post, there is currently a service alert concerning the "Purchase and Content Usage" Xbox Live servers. Typically, this affects attempts at buying digital games or retrieving DRM licenses when launching digitally-purchased games on your
Xbox.

Whenever XBL service alerts happen, Microsoft deploys engineers to fix the problem. The only thing anybody can do now is wait until the issue is fixed by Microsoft's engineers. They provide no ETA on server restoration.

 

Quantum Break Bonus Codes

Not received my bonus codes via Xbox Live messages yet when I purchased Quantum Break via Digital download on the Xbox Store. Any idea of an ETA when codes are being sent out?

Unfortunately, no, there is no ETA. The only thing we can do is keep an eye on the service alert page and wait for the tech team to let us know the problem has been fixed. Fortunately, the Xbox 360 service has been restored so lets hope the Xbox One service
is not too far behind.

Sti;ll no ETA on getting services up? Hard to explain to my kid why he can't play his christmas presents....

 

Talk about funny timing, no sooner than I posted this, I tried again to sign in and it let me. South Texas here, maybe back up for everyone? I noticed another thread saying someone else was up too.

 

Glad to hear that you are able to sign in and play your games. The service alert page still says there are issues so if you do run into further trouble then please be sure to check in on that.

Hey cloud how you keeping, I just managed to sign in hope this time round its fixed.

 

Here in UK down about 16 hours just signed in couple of minutes ago.

I haven't signed out since before this problem arose so luckily I haven't been affected with more and more folks from different regions being able to sign in over the past 30 minutes, things are looking promising
