Any chance this game gets better with age? lol

I bought this for $29.99 the other day, brand spankin new. I knew, read, watched and listened to the reviews ........... the good and mostly bad. I decided to give it a chance thinking 30 bucks wasnt bad for a risk on a series I love, Battlefield. I have
my own mixed reviews about the game right now and I like some of it but not a lot of it compared to what it has been known for or been in the past. My question to you all is do you think multiplayer will get any better with patches or updates to improve gameplay
and the overall experience or is Hardline (as I would say) ...... "It is what it is"? I wanna get into the game but Im finding that more and more difficult to do. I just dont know if it will get better or improve with time. I tried Destiny, that didnt work
for me, I tried FarCry 4 ..... was good but just not great IMO. I liked it but it didnt last long till I got bored with it. Lastly, Evolve was a new and refreshing type of game. However for me, I could not get into it. I dont know if its me (and yes I'll admit
if it is me or not) or if its just the quality of games available right now, it just doesnt seem to be a good time for a FPS. Im looking forward to the Witcher 3, The Division, Battlefront and Halo 5 for sure. Any other recommendations for FPS multiplayer
platforms? I'd appreciate and kind of feedback, good or bad

7 Days To Die.. Lol.

State of Decay is an ugly game, but it's a million times better than this. I was watching a stream and it looked boring. Why play this when games like Dying Light are out. There are a million other survival games out there. Unless this stands out it doesn't
stand a chance.

It's lag compensation. EVERY COD have the Problems with it. If you have fast Internet and low Ping times you get MASSIVE dissadvantage.

Many people say this is not true - but it is ! You can test it yourself.

If your router has traffic shaping (NOT QOS) and you give your xbox 0,8 Mbit upload you will see most of the compensation is gone. Your games get faster and better !

What also helps in call of duty (don't know why) If your router can enable "wan ping" or "internet ping" your games get better. Many Routers has this Feature disabled because of security - the Problem is: They block ALL ICMP and your game gets really bad.

 

I doubt this game will get that much better...

 

You never know man, I too have mixed feelings about this game. Yeah I play it and have fun but at the same time I feel kind of unhappy with the product. Mainly the fact that you die so very easily unlike in Destiny which you mentioned in addition to many
people being abusive in their behavior or resorting to cheap tactics like camping just outside the spawn points and offing players as they deploy in team deathmatch. Also their first patch did not help out all too much with that either. Another thing I don't
like is that when you aim down the sights with any of the short range scopes, your aim goes absolutely haywire jerking around like an Internet cafe patron jazzed on caffeine. I managed to somewhat fix this problem by equipping the 3.4 scope with my assault
rifles although this kind of problem I have never exhibited in a FPS, and trust me, I've played a ton of them. Only in this particular game did I run into trouble. Back to your topic question though, I bought the Premium membership so I'm kind of stuck with
this game. Whether you did or not I don't know but regardless anything any of us can do is just lie in wait and see how things chug along.

 

the more I play the better I like it! I like the challenge of using the shotguns! you need to use your head playing with them on the large open maps!
