Any chance of Xbox dipping into the backwards compatibility pool like Sony has with PS Now?

I'm probably barking up the wrong tree here but I would like my voice heard and I feel like I am not alone.

I would love it if Microsoft would bring in the ability to play Xbox 360 and Xbox Original games on the Xbox One. I know it was talked about that it may be possible with cloud technology but I haven't heard anything about it since before the launch over
a year ago.

Sony has released their version of it on their console. I think it is a great idea and I think many gamers would love this. There were a lot of fantastic games on the older systems that will never be "remade" for the One. This would be their only chance
for the older gamers to experience those games again and for younger gamers who weren't old enough yet to play them.

Open Letter to the Xbox Development Team

So, based on articles Sony is trying to offer backwards compatibility on PS4 with the help of Gaikai. Based on the quotes in the sticky it seems like MS has stated they wouldn't be able to do any updates to provide bc. I wonder if they, too, could use cloud
streaming like Gaikai to provide bc as well. I mean, that's not really an update but just more like an app. Sure, it's not 100% certain Ps4 will ever play earlier PS titles with the help of Gaikai but at least they're trying.

Hardly, as this game just launched in Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii. Should it had even launched in Xbox, then you might still have the chance through Backward Compatibility, but unfortunately, no.

 

You should post on the xbox feedback website as MS look at that site and often add the features with high amounts of votes.
