    Any chance of getting USB mic support for the Xbox Series X/S?


    I'm currently forced to use the Xbox twitch app while streaming to Twitch because my PC doesn't have a slot available for a capture card. That's fine and all and using my Webcam is easy as plug and play, however, I'm forced to use my headset mic because
    the Xbox doesn't support USB microphones. Can we get a fix for that? Thanks.

    Both the Series X and Xbox One have never supported "just any USB mic". They do not work.

    No. The Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S consoles do not support those type of mics.

    the xbox one s and the xbox one x need an adapter to make it usb and that also comes with its own power supply.

    the xbox series s and x don't support kinect.

    Does your friend have a Series X or S by any chance? The new consoles are much less affected...it is mainly PCs and XBox Ones

    Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



    You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)
