    Antlion Audio ModMic 4.0 with ASTRO Gaming MixAmp Pro tr xbox one is not working


    i bought ASTRO Gaming MixAmp Pro tr xbox one and connect it to xbox one and used Y adapter to connect the Sennheiser HD 598 and Antlion Audio ModMic 4.0 the headphone work but the mic is not work what is the problem?

    Can I use my Sennheiser 598's with my Xbox One using the Stereo Adapter that plugs into the controller?

    Since the 598's are 50 Ohms, you would need an amp. Your best bet would be the Astro Mixamp Pro if you don't mind spending the $130. You can add a Mic for an additional $7.50 to $50 depending on which one. The 598's are regarded as one of the best headphones
    you can buy for gaming. Paired with the Mixamp and a Mic, you have a near perfect setup.

    I just use the cheap Zalman ZM-Mic1 which is highly sensitive but sounds great if you turn down your Mic gain. The Antlion Modmic 4.0 is noise cancelling, has mute and connects to your headphone grill with a magnet. This is $50.

    Can’t hear in-game voice chat.

    It’s not connected to my controller. Although I have tried that as well. But I have an Astro A40 connected to a Mixamp pro TR which is connected to a Astro Audio Extractor. ( Since the new consoles don’t have an optical port) and the Audio Extractor is connected to my series X and TV.

    Everything worked fine with this setup until about 3 weeks ago. Around the time the Series X had a firmware update.
