Another Xbox One

I just bought another Xbox One giving my older one to the kids. My question, trying to understand this family stuff.

I set my Xbox to home. My wife reactivated (adult account) her account, got a free month but I am wondering under the family thing, will she have to pay?

My son(s) have their own account too, as a child account. Will they have to start paying?

Or will they all be under me as the family adult?

I noticed they can play the games I have digitally as well. I like that.

Another scratched xbox one

As far as the scratch goes, I suggest using the
Contact Us page to set up a support call with a repair specialist to speak with them about your options.

For the Ghosts issue, do you know of anyone (a friend or family member perhaps) that has a copy of Ghosts that wouldn't mind letting you try their disc with your console? If so, that will let us see if the issue lies with your copy of Ghosts
or somewhere else.

Another noisy XBox One....

I sent my console in for replacement for an unrelated problem. I just got the console back and now when I start up a game I get this annoying noise. I tried changed HDMI cords, going straight to the television instead of through the receiver and the same
issue no matter what. I was already without a console for almost a month and I'm afraid this is going to happen all over again. Has anyone found a fix?

 

They can share your gold subscription as long as they are using your Home console. So you would either need to set their console as your Home console in order for the kids to continue to share your stuff, or purchase a gold subscription for one of their
accounts.

 

Ok more questions to tack on then. My console would be affected by theirs being home? If I'm logged in does it affect them? With them being home console, do they still log into their account?

Also, thier was an issue with Fallout 4 (digital purchase) keep switching to home screen asking if I am the original purchaser of this download content. Setting my xbox to home was the fix and it has worked (so far). You think I will see this issue again?

 

You should be able to access all of your content no matter what console you're signed into. It won't affect anything if you're signed into your console while they're logged in on theirs. They would still need to log into their accounts in order to use their
accounts.

I'm not sure about the Fallout issue.
