Another Xbox Elite Series 2 Hardware Problem Post

Is anyone working on this? I can't get a hold of anyone, the phone lines direct me to the website and the website says I can't chat or get a phone call about this common problem.

Problems with the left thumbstick:

1. Massive input lag to almost no response via the y-axis (x-axis works as expected).
2. From default to any stick sensitivity configuration, drift will occur and remain sustained.

• It's exceptionally annoying browsing for streaming content and have it randomly cycle through it like someone is holding the thumbstick 100% up or down.
• It doesn't stop immediately when trying to correct it, sometimes it takes a few flicks in the opposite direction or rotating the entire stick to stop it.
• This frequently happens upon turning on the controller while the xbox is already on and will continue to do so at random during the same session.

I will commend how the xbox 360 hardware issues (red ring of death) were handled, the response and repair were swift and couldn't ask for a better way of how that was handled.

But $100 for a service order on a $180 product that I've owned for 5 months is absolutely ridiculous. So $280 for an elite 2 controller, when I can get an X Box One X for $299? Plus the 90-day warranty expired only a month before the problems started showing
up. Someone needs to fix this now, especially since it's been acknowledged by Microsoft that problems have existed since launch.
