another smart glass problem(wp8)

Can anybody tell me how to share from ie on wp8 with xbone????

When i try to share a web page on my phone it just tells me to download smart glass for 360

I dont want to share to my 360 its not set up anymore

Smart glass dont seem that smart to me at the min

Who Wants The Guide Button Back???

Smart glass certainly isn't the answer for me, it kind of defeats the object and just adds to the "farting around".

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying smart glass is a bad idea..... Just a bad alternative to a guide menu.

Also, I have had a lot of reliability issue's with smart glass, I'm not sure if that's down to My WP8 or smart glass itself though tbh.

 

Smartglass use

Got mine to work now, I've tried everything on my wp8 with no luck. Tried my son's acer tab and it will work on that. Start at the home screen on the X1, start smart glass and go to dr3 on your list of games on the smart glass, start dr3 from your smart
glass... Not from the X1, dr3 and the smart glass companion start at the same time and works fine.

This isn't a guaranteed fix but it definitely works for me.

 

Ok so if anybody cares you can share from xbone iE to your smartglass app on your phone.

But not from ie on wp8 to xbox one ????

So i can swap from web page on big screen and put it on to my littel screen!

But if im sat watching tv and browsing the net on my phone

and i find something i think the rest of the room might like and want to put it on the main screen you cant!

you go to share with xbox but it means xbox 360 there's no share to xbox one option

 

For an all singing etc etc multi media platform isn't that a step backwards.

Im trying to use as multi media platform but it just dont work as descibed

I love my xbox one and have my tv going through it so i can do that sort of thing.

also why i brought a windows 8 phone for seamless connectivity between devices.

but keep finding u cant do half the things you want to do.

and should be able too.

Oh well i hope they hurry up and add all lost features sooner rather than later

 

May sound an odd questions, but....Have you downloaded the Smartglass for xbox one app? an not the original version?

 

Yeah thats the whole drama buddy every time i go to share to xbox!

It take you to the store to download 360 smart glass!

Why would i want that when i have xbox one and yes the new xb1 smartglass app.

But its not that smart if you cant put whats on the phone web page onto the tv screen with out first opening up ie

On xbox 1 and typing in the web address (you can type in said adress with smartglass).

But you cant just swap from small screen to big but your can swap from big to small
