    Another sad excuse for customer support - I'm getting used to being blown off by Microsoft


    Here is my most recent discouraging exchange with Microsoft customer support:

    I have been tracking the time I have spent to try and get my xbox (under warranty) fixed and am now at 8.5 hrs over the last 2 weeks... And am no closer to a working console.

    I see. Please try to press and hold the power button on the console first for about 10 seconds. Then unplug the power cord from the outlet and plug it back in.

    I do understand your situation right now, Robert. I know this can be frustrating to not use your console for weeks already due to this. With regard to this concern, this really is a trial and error troubleshooting as this should be isolated properly
    and may consume a lot of time since you don't have an extra console or power supply you can try on your end to better isolate this. That is why your console was sent first for the replacement and now the issue is still not fixed.

    Yes, that is right. I agree with you since this issue you are having as mentioned above is a trial and error process due to the possibility of the power supply or the console causing this.

    Is there no way that can be expedited given the fact that I have spent numerous hours over the past 3 weeks trying to get this resolved, and have been met with horrible results to this point. I had to wait while the replacement console was shipped
    3000 miles to the wrong address then had to be rerouted and now that isn't even the right fix.

    I really don't think that is asking for too much.... I did pay for the warranty as well as pay an additional $15 for a replacement xbox while mine was being fixed that didn't actually provide me with a replacement as it doesn't
    work either

    job losing another customer for Microsoft. After 10 years this is how I get treated when i've been playing xbox since halo original came out. I'm done with this *** excuse of a company and am tired of being taken advantage of. What strikes me the most is
