Another live connection problem with no internet issues

While playing ESO tonight, I got booted to the main screen. Lost connection with servers. It happens frequently enough that I paid no mind. Except this time is different. I couldn't log back in. I kept getting the message that an xbox live connection is
required. I hard boot twice, same result. I test my connection with the laptop, wirelessly (Xbox is wired) and have no issue. Still getting a 50 mb connection. Tested the Xbox again, still says it is good. Tested multiplayer, fails. Nat is open.

Aftwr about 20 min of troubleshooting, it magically goes back to normal. It works for 15 min, and now I have the same problem once again. laptop still works fine. No other internet pulls were happening at time of Xbox problems. not sure where to go at this
point. It's odd that a system that has been set up and running fine on live for months suddenly can't connect. It was the only thing I haven't had problems with since buying my xbone. This console has been such a disappointment.

Xbox live outage?

Anyone having issues getting on Xbox live currently? I've tried restarting the console and makes no difference, I've run a diagnosis on the Xbox and it says it is. Problem with live nd my Internet connection is fine. Also posting this from my iPad on wifi
so no issues there.

Whatever issue they had seems to have been cleared. Give it another go. The problem might be with your initial connection to Xbox Live not an Internet connection.

im having the same problem is their any way around it and i try for chatt support but get none.

Can you test the network connection and multiplayer connection?

If both tests say "Its all good" then please fill out the information below.

Nat type:

Wired or Wireless:

Download speed:

Be sure to double check your subscription by going to "My Account" in the upper right hand corner of xbox.com and make sure your subscription isn't suspended. If the subscription was suspended it shows similar symptoms.

 

Having the exact same problem with my xbox one also, it has been down for me for 4 days. Hope Microsoft fixes this soon.

Getting really fed up with these Xbox issues. Having the same problems on my end.

 

it is telling me that all of the problems are fixed and everything is good to go, but i am still getting an error code saying that i cant play my games

 

Mine is saying I am connected, but when I go to use any game or app, it says I need to connect to the internet. Have tried all the usual fixes.

 

I went on vacation for a week, and came back to no issues. It wasn't an ESO issue, I couldn't get Netflix or any other multiplayer to work.

I have been a loyal Xbox fan since I sold my PS2 and bought an original xbox in 2001. That being said, this console has been an absolute disaster for me. Voice commands work 50% of the time, endless headset issues, no bluetooth adapter for the controllers
for chat, and as a now-older casual gamer who only spends 2-5 hours a week playing, I would say 20% of my console time is now spent updating or troubleshooting. Congratulations Microsoft, you have managed to take the fun out of something I relied upon for
just that.

On the upside, my frustration with this console has led me to spend more time on a bike rather than on my *** in front of the TV.
