    Another issue with a game not launching from gamepass on my series X.


    I have an issue with a gamepass game not installing, I'm new to xbox and have had a couple problems the few months I have been part of the community. I had a ps4 for 8 years and NEVER had the issues I have had with the series X. My series s runs games better than the series X and I just bought both consoles. My latest issue is I uninstalled battlefield 2042 because it was having problems and re installed and still won't launch. I have also reset my console twice and honestly getting sick of all the issues. So If I turn on my series X I try and launch bf 2042 the screen goes black and returns to the dashboard, I go and fire the same game up on my series S and it runs fine. What is going on and this isn't the first game that crashes on the X either, the other day Ark crashed once to the dashboard as I was playing and everyone who plays that game knows you can't just log off like that or you will be robbed or killed. I was deffinatly not a fan of Bill Gates before... now using his product for the first time in my life this year is seeming like a bad decision.

    I really appreciate your time to read my not so pleasant complaints sir, my other games seem to work good on the series X so I believe it has to do with those particular games, il try re installing again you know what they say about the third time, it's a charm lol. If you see Bill Gates wandering around just shout BlackBeard and see what happens. Have a good one.

    I see. That would be possible. It may be a stability issue. Our best option then is to perform a factory reset. There's an option to keep your games and apps.

    To further isolate it, try to play the games you're having issues with using a different Xbox profile.

    If you believe that it is on their system or software stability, I highly suggest to file a bug directly to the Team Xbox for them to investigate the issue properly. Please use the Report a problem app to report it. Check your guide here https://support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/m....

    Thanks for the response. Have not tried the factory reset yet and I am hoping it will not come to that, I can play games on it so I think the internal hardware is fine, I think the problems are coming from game pass on certain games, for 17.99 to have 100s of games to all be in working order did seem to good to be true.
