OK Microsoft enough! Get the codes out to the people who have already paid you. You are not fulfilling your part of the transaction and the passing the buck is really getting old. The developer states that it is not their issue and xbox live is where
the issue is. How about some answers Microsoft!!!!!

Xbox Live Gold Subscription Gone AWOL

Another day and still no response from anyone?! Essentially it's theft at the moment, Microsoft are taking money from my account yet not dealing with the issues.

I have had code problems myself and tried everything I could think of. In the end it ended up being just time needed, Because I eventually got a email and got my code, it sucked waiting so long but atleast it eventually came.

Based on your question, the answer would be no. A code from a country won't work on another country, where it is necessary to purchase a code from the same country/region that your account it configured to.

If you got the card from the store when they scan it the card will activate. Depending on what store you got it from the card code will be printed on the receipt or there will be a scratch off. If the code is used then it won't work. Sometimes there are
third party sites(they aren't supposed to do this) and they scan card codes in a database and use Microsoft's algorithm to obtain a card code for free that is either still in the store or is inactivated and activate the code and send the code to the person
who completed the survey. When this happens Microsoft usually blocks it, but other times it actually works.(Potential 1) /Depending on where you got it from the code just doesn't work, you can explain this to the company where you bought your card and exchange
it(if you got it from Microsoft you can't), and maybe they will give you another one free of charge or a bonus gift just for the hassle.(Potential 2)/ If that still doesn't work then you may have to buy another one. I'm sorry, that's life, have a nice day!
