Another "Controllers Randomly Disconnecting" Post

This is yet another post about Xbox One controllers randomly disconnecting and reconnecting on their own while using the console. Like many others, I've followed the troubleshooting steps time and time again with no luck. I've sent my console in for this
issue only to have it sent back saying there were no issues found. I also have a Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and Wii U and have never had any problems with controllers losing connection on those systems. Microsoft, I think it's time to acknowledge that there is a
fundamental issue with the firmware and/or hardware and fix it. Quit blaming the issue on weak batteries and interference.

Controllers Randomly Disconnecting

Anyone experiencing a problem where a players controller randomly disconnects during the game. If you hit the lighted button, you go back home and the controller works just fine. Just not in the Powerstar Golf game. It then switches that player to another
controller to share. The other day, it disconnected three players to no controller and we just had to 'quit' the game through home menu.

Anyone? Really annoying.

 

Problem with controller

Both of my controllers are also disconnecting randomly

FIFA is the main game affected suffered 10 disconnects in one half!

I do have my xbox in the next room so not sure what the range of the controllers are

 

Ive heard it is a bad WiFi card issue. From lurking around on various forums thats usually the case. It also seems to affect a small number of people which is probably why MS hasnt really said much about it.

Sorry to hear about the controller disconnect issues! Just to be sure that all troubleshooting steps have been covered, I recommend running through all of the steps listed in our Xbox
One Wireless Controller Disconnects or can't connect page. Be sure to follow all of the steps listed in the troubleshooting page, you can also try connecting you controller with a USB cable in the meantime. If the issue continues to occur after trying

Same issue with my Day One, tried troubleshooting and new controller but nothing works. I have even moved it to a different room with no luck. I bought an extra Sunset Overdrive edition and it works fine with no problem. I think its faulty hardware that
no one wants to address.
