Another.Broken.Controller.

First Xbox controller had a bad right analogue stick that kept veering down. All aiming and visibility in games were gone. The charge port also didn't work so the rechargeable batteries became useless.

Second remote was fine until the top left bumper came off for no reason at all. I literally pressed it in game and it popped loose. Only a year after replacing the first. Remote is useless now until replaced.

I bought my sister a new remote for the exact same issue during Christmas.

What's the deal with paying $50 for a controller that can't last?

My 20+yr old SNES controller still works like a champ and I beat the crap out of it as a child.

Any chance XBox plans on creating standard controllers that don't crumble?
