    Hello.

    I have seen many posts about this, and I have seen a lot of advice, but none of the suggestions have worked so far.

    The scenario:

    My xbox 360 has worked fine for years. I have lived at the same location, with the same isp, and with no issues. Approximately 1 week ago I got disconnected from a game (mass effect 3 multiplayer if that matters) and have not been able to sign in again
    while at my home. I get this error code everytime. The two things that confuse me the most are:

    1) My Roommate also has an xbox 360 that has used the same connection as me for quite some time (at least a year) with no problems. He is not experiencing this issue, even though we are literally using the same router.

    2) as a test I have taken my xbox to a different location, and it connects just fine. It is only my house, but it's also only my xbox. All other consoles / devices are fine.

    Things I have tried:

    Power cycling modem

    Power cycling router

    Clearing cache

    Deleting/re downloading my profile

    Connecting directly to the modem instead of via router

    Using different ethernet cables

    I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

    Answers to questions from connection trouble shooting post:

    I'm from chicago, il, United States

    My modem is a Motorola surf board model SB5120

    My router is a Cisco linksys E2500

    My connection is wired

    Upnp status is unknown

    I am not aware of any NAT errors and have never had one

    The error code is always 80151904

    My ISP is comcast

    please check your error code 80151904

    it indicates there is something wrong with your Profile data and provides a possible solution

    but a: 169.254.211.83

    your xbox states it did not recieve a correct ip address with automatic Settings.

    you could give it a try with Manual Settings, just check on your roomates xbox which ip address this one is using (usually 192.168.***.***). for the ip address the last block has to be different, the 3 others have to be identical, every other entry should
    be identical: subnet, Gateway, dns servers
