    Annoying sound in brand new Xbox Elite Controller...


    I bought an Xbox Elite Controller on 08/30/2016, in a business travel. I was really excited to get this controller and really had good expectations about it.

    Since I bought it, the controller has a sound in the right jostick when I push up, it sounds like a attached bag or something like that.

    It's unacceptable that a Premium Controller, has these kind of problems...

    So, now I wanna warranty claims, but I bought this controller in USA and I live in Mexico... Already talked with technical support and they said that I need a residencial address in USA. I travel a lot of business and I always stay at hotels, so I asked
    if I can put the hotel's address and they said NO.

    Now I'm concern about I will lose soon my warranty.

    What kind of service is this!?

    Is annoying to hear it the sound every time when I move up.

    It supposes that it must have a perfect quality because is a premium controller and it's not cheap at all.

    What can I do about it? Any suggestions?

    Why isn't Microsoft manufactering any elite controllers?

    I want to get an Xbox One elite controller. Every retailer doesn't have any. I was wondering why the manufacturing stopped. I can only find preowned elite controllers and I want a brand new one.

    XBOX ONE ELITE Controller - Not Syncing - Not Connecting

    Brand New 1 day old Elite Xbox One - Controller will not sync.

    Elite controller is updated, it received the latest update.

    Xbox One Elite console received the new update.

    Replaced batteries (Used 8 sets of batteries, Duracells and Energizers)

    Plugged in USB - Works when plugged in, unplug after a few minutes and light just flashes indefinitely and will not sync.

    Tried syncing via sync button on console and controller.

    Power Cycled Console numerous times.

    Unplugged console numerous times.

    FACTORY RESET the Elite Console 5 times.....

    So far this is a total disappointment so far! $500 console and the *** controller won't sync!

    your warranty will stay, the problem is they need a addres for shipment. I takes about 2 - 4 weeks before your controller returns.

    if you take the battery out you can find a serial number on a sticker, this Is also your warranty, you can also find one on the back of your Xbox one.

    Apologies for being a little off topic, but I believe I have uncovered a fraudulent scheme here in India and was seeking help to communicate the same to you all seeking advice on future steps

    Yes, the 1 year is for a brand new console and the Elite Series 2 controllers.

    If it is not listed as a retailer on xbox website. I doubt this may be real as that deal seems too low for a brand new elite controller.

    Thank you for the response. Ive had this issue with the regular xbox one controller and turtle beach headset. So I got a brand new elite controller and new headset but the problem persists. I’m pretty certain it’s the xbox hardware and/or interference
    at this point.
