Annoying Problem Please Help [Lords & Kingdoms Cover Art Replacing Art For Multiple Games]

Apologies for any confusion, entexman. I can confirm that clearing cache 3 times is an official step to try and often times leads to success. The steps I've provided are intended to refresh your game art that is displaying incorrectly for you. Just to make
certain, you're seeing your box art show up as Lords & Kingdoms, correct? There is another issue where box art isn't showing, which isn't resolved with these steps.

If this is indeed the Lords & Kingdoms issue just need to clarify, did you delete and clear cache 3 times as recommended? You mentioned that it wouldn't help, but it's definitely a step that needs to be completed for this to clear up. Please keep us in the
loop.

Deleting the cache 3 times does not make any sense to me since it should delete the cache the first time or give an error saying the cache was not deleted. I tested on game with the steps and the image for Kingdoms and Lords still did not go away. Like I
said I am not going to delete up to 100 games and re-download them unless I can get one game to work. Even then I think it is pretty unreasonable to expect me to do that when there was nothing I did on my Xbox 360 to cause the issue in the first place. Microsoft
needs to start coming up with a better solution for this problem ASAP or I am done with the Xbox brand completely.

 

Mister Maka's verified answer didn't work for me, but this did.

1. Delete all profiles on console. (profile only)

2. Check storage for corrupt items and delete them.

3. Clear cache. (I did it 3 times)

4. Turn console off.

5. Turn console on and download profile(s).

Had Xbox resolved these issues for anyone. We have had the same issues

 

The issue with the Kingdoms and Lords icon showing up for multiple games incorrectly seems to be fixed by simply clearing the cache on the XBox 360 hard drive and rebooting the XBox 360.

The issue with Game Art missing is still not resolved and is supposedly being "looked into". Since the missing game art is an issue on the XBox Live server end we can only wait for a solution there. Currently I only have a few games without Icons showing
up and a couple of those arcade games have been like that for a while now.

 

The "verified answer" in this thread is not correct. To fix the "Kingdoms and Lords" icon showing up for multiple titles incorrectly all that should be needed is:

1) Clear system cache on XBox 360 hard drive.

2) Shut down XBox 360 and wait for it to fully power down. (Give it a good minute)

3) Power up XBox 360

4) Verify that "Kingdoms and Lords" does not show up on any games on your Xbox 360 game art.

I have tested this on 3 different XBox 360's and it has worked on all 3 for me. Of course you may run into issues based on some other issue with your particular 360. I know for a fact solutions are never always a simple do these steps with the XBox 360
lately. I would try these steps above before going through the steps documented in the "official" answer for this thread.

Credit for the solution goes to Ratman7891 and Glynniepoos who posted the fix in my thread on the issue which got locked recently. I think the mods on this forum are a little "lock" happy. I never got to finish up my thoughts on my own thread and I was
forced to come to this thread to wrap up my own issue. Locking threads should be an exception not a norm in my opinion.

 

Same issue here. - most games are labelled as Kingdom & Lords. I've followed the steps but it just comes back. Oddly, I have Limbo labelled as Jetpack Joyride (another wp game).

Do you have an external USB hard drive or USB thumb drive for external storage? It could be you need to clear the system cache on those storage options as well. For me only arcade games were showing up as "Kingdoms and Lords". I keep all of my Arcade games
on the internal XBox 360 500 GB hard drive so I only cleared the cache for that drive. I also have a 1TB external USB hard drive to store all of my Games on Demand and installed retail games. Non of those games showed the "Kingdoms and Lords" game art so I
did not clear the system cache on the drive.

That's interesting about the Jetpack Joyride game art showing up for Limbo. I will take a look again on my 360 later to see if I see that game art or not.

 

Here we go again! After the Kingdoms & Lords fiasco from last month, now we have Jetpack Joyride polluting our dashboards. And the fix from last time - clearing the cache and doing a hard reset - doesn't seem to work this time around.

Looks like this is going to be a monthly thing until we all upgrade like good little economic units... I mean, customers.
