    Hello, I downloaded Gameloft's MODERN COMBAT5:esports fps some time ago. The game usually works fine, but as of yesterday, I am getting this extremely annoying popup that reads as follows; You'll need a new app to open pauseusermusic, yes that one big
    word. Under that I am given two options, 1.look for an new app in Microsoft store, and 2. always use this app. Problem is, only when I select no.1 am I able to hit the ok button at the bottom, when I select no.1 it takes me to the Microsoft store where I am
    told, ''there are no results for pauseusermusic". The big problem though, is that after the popup the animated game arrow changes to the standard white arrow which means I can no longer select anything in the game. essentially, because this nightmare pops
    up almost as soon as I open the game, the game is useless until I can get this fixed. So first, what the heck is pauseusermusic, and what does it have to do with my game? I don't have any music downloaded on my computer, and have never seen anything on my
    computer under such a name. I have windows 10 and have completed all updates required recently. This is EXTREMLY FRUSTATING, so please any help to get rid of this would be appreciated.

    Does this happen in other games or apps on Windows 10?

    This seems like it's ad related? I would GUESS that it's trying to serve an ad, and is calling a service to pause music or other audio to play the ad, but that service is not working, and Windows is looking for if there is a Store app to handle that service.
    I would recommend reporting this error to Gameloft, unless it's popping up in other titles not managed by Gameloft (let us know).

    I just reinstalled it, but this does not seem to be a game problem. I am getting a Microsoft popup about something seemingly unrelated to the game.

    Have you tried reinstalling the game or checking with the games support page?
