    Annoying issue with system sounds


    Reaching out here as I can't seem to find a solution anywhere.

    Since the "Cortana" update in the summer, the system sounds on My Xbox one are giving off a static sound. When scrolling through the Home menus the sound quality is really poor yet in gameplay it is perfectly fine. im using a pair of Astro A50s which I've
    tested on another console and have gone through all the troubleshooting steps. Has anybody else experienced this? its driving me crazy.

    Sound issue - game sound only

    I'm having this issue every day. Only fix is a hard restart. System UI sounds work fine. Getting real annoying to randomly start a game to no audio.

    Xbox one and surround sound

    I'm having a similar issue as well, though everything other then voice comes in through my sound system, and the speech is trying to come through my TV...its realllly annoying.

    Hey there cKy Jack,

    To clarify. Did the headset work on the other console without an issue? Are you hearing this same issue when using the audio coming directly from the console to the TV's speakers?
