    Animated Ad interferes with mouse operation


    I have been having problems with the mouse since an update to the Microsoft Jigsaw app was posted several months ago. The problem is this: When I grab a piece(s) to move, the mouse does not always release the piece(s) when I release the mouse button.
    As a result the piece could end up anywhere on the board. It is very frustrating to have to locate the piece and move it again.

    In just the last few days that I have observed a direct correlation of this problem with animation in advertising in the lower right corner of the screen. As long as the ad window is stable (no motion), the mouse works fine. However, any animation in the
    ad window and mouse operation is unpredictable.

    This is not preventing me from playing the game. I play every day and complete an average of one puzzle (most difficult) per day. Since Windows graciously arrived free of charge, I have completed hundreds of puzzles.

    Advertising interferes with mouse operation

    Whenever there is any motion/animation in the advertising box on lower right corner of screen, the left mouse button freezes up. If the button is depressed, it won't release. If it is not pressed, pressing it does nothing. Once the activity in advertising
    box stops, the left mouse button behaves correctly.

    I know that upgrading Microsoft Jigsaw to the premium (or whatever it's called) version will eliminate the problem by eliminating advertising. However, that does not negate the fact that there is a bug. As of now, I don't plan to upgrade so the correct
    option is to fix the bug.

    I know how to retrieve my static avatar picture but what I want to know is how to do that with my avatar being animated and responsive to the mouse clicking (just like on Xbox.com)

    The recent update improved mouse performance to reduce lag for the recent mouse and keyboard compatibility as well as general system performance. Some bug fixes I imagine were also patched in. Another feature that was added was parental control for cross
    platforming with other platforms (Fortnite).

    Probably your Bluetooth card doesn't support the wireless controller connected via Bluetooth + your mice

    The best option for you would be use the controller via USB cable if you need to use your mice
