Angry Birds 2 progress lost

I recently had to uninstall my Angry Birds 2 app. Since you can't save your account on Facebook with windows, I've been saving it with the cloud icon in the gear menu. When I tried to redownload the app from within my library in the Microsoft store, the original purchase date of 10/06/21 is still present, but all progress was gone. Gems, purchases, and level, my team, all gone...? Am I screwed?

Not for Xbla. There's a retail game, Angry Birds Trilogy. And there's also a bunch of Windows Phone and Windows 8 games (Angry Birds, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Star Wars).

Don't be so sure! My dad easily fits into the age range of this thread and last year he discovered angry birds, all by himself as well!

He was even super disappointed when he changed his apple account details and lost all his progress, hahaha, oh father dearest.

Mine too, but we aren't paying that much for it. ABSW 2 is out anyway.
