  2. Does the new Xbox one S Bluetooth controller work for iOS and android?

It's work with Android, I paired it with Nvidia Shield TV (Android 6.0)

But I have other problem with it, do not work Impulse Triggers in Forza 6 Apex via Bluetooth connection.

Why the Xbox is the future of Television...

It would be cool if you could always get TV via the internet. Currently there are no TV apps on Xbox 360 or Xbox 1 for New Zealand, yet TVNZ has made an app for Samsung S5 smartphones and android. I pretty much never or seldom-ly watch TV. I use to watch
a bit when I was in primary school. I mainly watch videos Youtube and play games on Xbox, I haven't really been interested in the TV side. I have my own TV and game in my bedroom, saves fighting over the one in the lounge.

Yes, I have an Android TV box that I tried to plug in via the HDMI input, but I found the performance to be almost useless. The home screen appears to be completely frozen, it just seems to come to life for a spit second every 10 seconds or so.

I have the option to output to 720p /1080p in 50 & 60hz which I have tried and they appear to be the same.

I have tried different Home Launchers and again the result was the same.

I did find that if you can get an app to auto start a video file then that plays fine without any stuttering, so I only assume that the Home screen redraw is causing issues with the Xbox One HDMI input.

I am quietly hoping that the March Update that apparently contains the 50hz fix us Europeans have been waiting for may help.

I would be open to assisting MS to fix the issue, but I can't imagine that this would be very high on the agenda as it probably isn't a device they envisioned being plugged in to the xbox one.

Just to add to this, I received the March Update last night.... Applied the magic 50hz option, and its still terrible no change from my above post whatsoever.

I can only assume that there is an issue from how the Android Home screen is output and whatever the "Active" HDMI input on Xbox One is doing.

Works perfectly fine when plugged direct in to the back of the TV.

    Nevermind, I'll keep switching cables.

Following on from all this, I have found a working solution but why we have to do this in the first place is beyond me...

Firstly installed a Back Ground Music app to the Android TV Box

Secondly installed an auto start app.

Thirdly checked the internet for a Silent mp3 file and set the background music app to play this on repeat

I've tested this multiple times on the Xbox One and now there is no lag what so ever, you just have to allow enough time for the apps to open on the ATV box before switching to TV on the Xbox One.

I can now enjoy Netflix, LoveFilm, XBMC, Iplayer, Sky Go etc...

I realize this was from three years ago, but I got an Android Box this week, used the HDMI port on my Xbox One (Simply because the two on my TV are in use). All I had to do was go to One Guide and get the HDMI to recognize the device. Maybe the technology
has changed since you guys were having issues, but mine works like a charm.
