    Android 10 Game Streaming controller issue?


    Game streaming worked perfectly previously. Have not tried since having had my phone update itself to Android 10. On LG G8 thinq, Android 10, controller pairs and streaming starts as normal. No buttons or control sticks work at all now. B button only seen by android as back button apparently as pressing it asks if I would like to disconnect. Noticed in other app (retroarch) that although the view button can be set as a select button pressing it does nothing now. Is this a know issue currently? Controller is fully updated, and works perfectly when used directly with my Xbox. Just a bummer because prior to this Game Streaming worked great for me. Any answers would be great.

    Xbox streaming causing Bluetooth issues

    This is a very common problem. Depending on your phone/tablet version will determine whether you can connect your controller. For example, android users must make sure their phone version is 6.0 or higher with a Bluetooth version of 4.0. While I
    am unsure of the ios requirements, I hope this helped.
    That is definitely not the issue as both devices are on android 10 and bluetooth 4 and the controller works fine with both the phone and tablet with all other apps the issue is specifically while using the xbox streaming app.

    Hi,

    It's not possible yet. Xcloud streaming is only available for Android phones and tablets. My guess is it will be available eventually for streaming to Windows 10. I don't know when that will be.

    Are you talking about streaming to Mixer or Twitch?

    Local streaming to the Windows 10 Console Companion App?

    Streaming from the beta xCloud service on Android or iOS?

    Streaming the beta remote Console Streaming on Android or iOS?

    Or a different method?

    Which ever it is will wildly change our ability to help, and where the best place to post might be. Let us know!
