Last refuge, as the saying goes? I have no idea what the number even means, let alone what it should be. I just played. What proof would you like? Would you like me to regale you with the tales of how Sony released a few versions of their Vaio laptop running
Windows XP with the wrong modem drivers making it almost impossible for them to connect to the internet? Would you like mew to post macro code I personally wrote for Corel WordPerfect? Would you like me to assist you in configuring Lotus Domino so you can
have your very own mail/web/database server? Would you like me to assist the configuration of Linux CircleMUD so you have the NPC of Fire Marshal Bill? My statements were nothing more than to explain not all who play video games are still trying to figure
out how to hide an F on a report card.

As for the free content, I'm sure you would have the same question if you attempted to download Candy Crush to the tablet your parents bought you for Christmas and iTunes/Google Play/1Mobile demanded a credit card.

If you have no answers as to why the achievements disappeared, say so. If you want to spend time attempting to insult others, so be it. I, however, will not play.

 

Now, let me see if I fully understand what is going on here.

It now seems obvious to me that when you started using your console you basically continued to game like you would on the original Xbox, without having to create a profile.

So now, you have just recently created an XBL profile on your console and you have found that non of the achievements you have unlocked show up on your recently created profile?

 

Yes. I played offline for about 2 years. But the worse part is that in both Fallout games, the achievements disappeared from my console as well. From Fallout:New Vegas, I only lost a few, I can deal with that. But most of the achievements from Fallout 3
have disappeared. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and may know the cause. Also, I have unlocked some of the achievements in Gears of War but the game doesn't even show in my list, let alone anything I unlocked. Thanks for any insight
you may have.

 

Remember, You need a profile to play in the first place..... Even Offline.

Such an educated man should be able to... Oh nevermind. I am wrong!!!! the OP needs his Achievements!!!!! I suggest -1,000,000... That way you can keep track on the way to ZERO .

How does one earn an achievement (for 2 years) without a profile?? I hope others can educate my ignorance...

Using a different profile would indeed answer all the questions asked... Remember, This one is only a few days old

 

The thing is Bong, with my 360 I can put a game disc in and start to play the game without signing in to any profile on the console.

 

I've decided not to pursue this further as a rep from Gamestop answered my question. Xbox support referred me to the forums and I guess I'm not as savvy as those hooked on Rock Band and Kinect Sesame Street TV. I thank you, Paraffin Alien for your attempts
