    Analog Stick Movement During Xbox 360 Activation


    Hello. I am hoping someone can help me with this - I spoke with an Ambassador about this but I bungled the question. When turning on my Xbox 360, I accidentally brushed/possibly moved one of the analog sticks on the controller. When this occurs- whether
    or not the Xbox 360 is about to do a System Update (which is what happened to me today) - will that cause any damage/effect?

    XBox One Controllers Analogue Stick Seems Loose!

    Yes, both sticks are meant to be a bit loose like you explained. I don't mind it, it's meant to be that way to give the analog sticks more free movement.

    Yeah, there are a few videos out there showing the problems. One of the clips on the analog stick base becomes loose or falls off completely. Other videos show extra movement on the thumb sticks themselves.

    I am sure there are plenty of materials to make it out of that would be sturdy. I am so sick of that jerky right analog stick. And having to switch back and forth between the stick and the buttons is stupid, an RPG nightmare. At least this design will free
    the thumb. I am sure that another button would be able to act as the analog stick click.

    I think trackballs died in the 90s, but maybe they could use infrared to track the movements? or a special finger cover to track the movements?

    I just hope this controller gets made ASAP!

    I never even really noticed it in BC2 to be honest. I don't think it's really needed in BF, just because the aiming and movement isn't as loose, as say, Call of Duty.

    Doesn't bother me either way though. Analog sticks are inaccurate, all 3 of my controllers (2 are from the new slim 360's) have a lot of wobble/play without even registering that either stick is actually 'moving'. That's why I feel aim assist is generally
    needed on consoles. It makes up for the inaccuracy and play of both analog sticks.
